Overview
I designed Sandwell College’s Adult Prospectus 2025, created to encourage adult learners to explore opportunities for upskilling, retraining, and returning to education. The prospectus needed to feel professional, accessible, and easy to navigate while showcasing the college’s wide range of courses.
Approach
I used a structured grid system to create consistency across the publication and introduce intentional white space, helping the design feel professional and approachable for an adult audience. During meetings with Sandwell College, they highlighted their focus on promoting more hands-on subjects such as construction, which influenced the overall visual direction of the prospectus. This led me to develop a bolder, more structured design style that balanced professionalism with a practical, career-focused feel. The grid also allowed me to create recurring content sections across each course page, making key information easy to locate and creating a more intuitive reading experience.
